How to loose wrinkles No comments yet

You’re compelled to look younger and are dedicated to using an anti aging skin care product. After exploring different options, you’ve found one that you use religiously every day.

Being as dedicated to looking younger as you are, you work on the entire package by exercising, maintaining a healthy diet, drinking plenty of water, and getting a good night’s sleep. However, as far as the wrinkle cream goes, how can you be sure that you’re really getting the desired effects from the wrinkle cream?

One of the characteristics that you should look for is that you should not have any burning or tanning on your face. A good eye wrinkle cream will prevent these things from occurring. You may look great with a tan, but tanning increases the toughness in your skin and in the long run, you don’t look great, you just look older.

One reason people who don’t use an anti-aging cream don’t look as young is due to dry and peeling skin that may also cause additional wrinkles. You’re effective anti-aging product should contain a moisturizer to help keep your skin hydrated.

If the anti-aging cream is working properly and is a good one, then it will contain antioxidants and vitamins. This will help keep your face clear of any additional rashes or blemishes.

The shiny appearance of your face can make you look younger and appear to give you a natural glow. This effect will also help mask wrinkles by reducing shadowing on the face.  Therefore, your anti-aging cream should contain light-reflecting minerals.

One way to have a younger looking face is to get rid of some of the plumpness and puffiness in the face. A great product to use for this believe it or not is a hemorrhoid cream.  If you can’t bring yourself to put the hemorrhoid cream on your face, then you can look for creams whose ingredients are similar.

Again, a reminder that an effective anti-aging cream should contain a sunscreen.  If you miss that tanned look that made you so proud, you can get a self-tanner cream. This way you can still have the great look of a tan without the damaging effects of the sun.

Unique T Shirts No comments yet

I bought some stuff the other day at ResistToday.com that I just love. They have Unique Tees made by independent artists. Their graphics are grunge design.

I get compliments every time I wear one of their screen printed art tee shirts are inspired by nature. They use images and photos of branches, trees, leaves and vines and collage them into cool art. Then they screen print their art onto an American Apparel t-shirts (these shirts are soft, wear well and are made in the US).

Here’s a good quote from their web site. We’re interested in using products as a wearable and functional art medium. With so little public space available for art some of us turn to a street sign, abandon building or overpass; we think shirts and wallets are just as good of an art surface.

The things they do with their art is so awesome. They don’t care about getting their art into big, fancy galleries; they just want real people to connect with their art and images. I like that attitude because a lot of artists only want to make art (with a capital A) and that’s limiting for a lot of regular people. Some of us don’t care for the atmosphere of art shows and museums or galleries. So, it’s cool that there are artists and stores like Resist Today that cater to a different audience.

Some of their images remind me of a piece I saw in juxtapoz magazine and some t-shirts I’ve seen on threadless.

My favorite t-shirt design of theirs is called Circulate, but they have a lot of cool designs on unique wallets, screen printed messenger bags and unique pillows! My sister’s boyfriend bought her this cute skull tshirt.

Resist Today is a nice little indie shop.

Bacterial Vaginosis Survey Results No comments yet

There is no doubt that anti-biotics can and do work to solve the problem of bacterial vaginosis. Part of the problem is the expense of a doctor visit and the prescription drugs. Another problem is that a large portion of the women see a return of the condition, so the problem hasn’t really been solved.

People often look for proof that alternative therapies or home remedies for bacterial vaginosis will work. Part of the problem is that there are rarely companies that will fund studies using herbal ingredients. These studies are usually undertaken by universities.

Below is a study of previous studies that had been performed on herbal therapies.

One study attempted to conduct a survey of scientific literature and previously conducted studies into alternative therapies for bacterial vaginosis.

Their findings ended up being inconclusive due to lack of enough in vivo studies but here is some positive news on something they did find.

“Lactobacillus recolonization (via yogurt or probiotic capsules) shows benefit for the treatment of both yeast vaginitis and bacterial vaginosis with little potential for harm.”

Good news for those looking into probiotics or yogurt to help with common female problems like yeast infections or bacterial vaginosis.

The use of tea tree oil and garlic while showing some positive effects in the lab, there were not enough real case studies for anything conclusive enough to provide a recommendation. Here is what the report said.

“Finally, tea tree oil and garlic show some in vitro potential for the treatment of vaginitis, but the lack of in vivo studies preclude their recommendation to patients for the time-being.”

They also recommended against the practice of douching.

“Because of associated risks in the absence of well-documented clinical benefits, douching remains a practice that should not be recommended for the treatment of vaginitis.”

All those commercials about “feeling fresh” is nothing but a selling tactic and does nothing positive for you body.

Douching has long been suspect at helping any sort of gynecological associated problems with just the opposite being  suggested. That douching my actually bring on or contribute to problems women can have such as bacterial vaginosis, yeast infections and most typical vaginitis in general.
