be creative No comments yet

Very often we tend to use our time only to consume more and more. Have you thought how much fun getting creative yourself can be?

I want to show you three different ways to get creative! I will cover three different fields, so everyone can pick something that suits him or her. The three different fields are reading, knitting and making a photo calendar.

My first idea for getting creative is making a special bookmark: a funny bookworm bookmark. I found this on a german website on bookmarks called lesezeichenladen.de. You can find the instructions in the section Bücherwurm basteln. Have Fun!

The second idea, although I must admit that most probably this will appeal more to women, is to knit a nice looking cap for the colder season. A fine set of instructions can be found on wunderfaser.de, the section is called Mütze stricken. I personally own one of those (to be honest, it was a present, but it was made using these instructions…)

The third idea for you creative minds out there is to make a photo calender with your own pictures. It is done using all free software. The instructions and the software can be found on www.naturfotokalender.de (section: Kalender mit Fotos selbst erstellen.)

Hope you enjoy my tips for a creative time! Go and do something yourself, you will be proud of it!

Warning about People finder websites No comments yet

Don’t use a people finder before you read this. This is especially meant for those who have never used them before. The article provides some key information about these finders i.e. what to expect and what you need to do.

There are a number of people finders being launched online every day. Half of those do not deliver as required. Of course there is the other half that’s just great. The warning I provide below does apply to both groups i.e. the good and the bad.

· There are paid and free people finders: some of the sites allow you to access their database to find people free i.e. without having to pay a cent while some charge you a certain fee. In fact at first glance, a site may look like it offers free services by letting you search using at least one variable (or piece of information) free and then will charge you for the rest.

· They collect your personal information: in some sites, you are required to provide you personal details so they can let you have access to their membership area. You need to be sure you are ready to do this before you start looking for any free people finder online.

· Some are not certified or verified: every one of these sites need to follow some certain business standards before they can offer their services to the public. Most often verified sites have indicators within the site - usually on the footer stating their certification.

· Some do not comply to The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA): in fact a number of owners of people finders do not know about privacy policy laws and do not even bother to find out about them.

· They do not have a privacy policy statement: I consider this vital for any site that collects and uses people’s information. Every website that is used to find a person free must have a privacy policy statement stating how they use the information you provide, whether they sell it or give it to 3rd party advertisers and business partners.

· Make sure the pay for search site is certified or verified somehow so that they have to follow some standards of business before you purchase anything from them and that they can protect your privacy when you buy from them.

Internet VOIP Service - Why You Should Switch to VOIP No comments yet

“Voice over Internet Protocol” or VoIP is technology that lets you make and receive phone calls over the Internet through an online VOIP service. VoIP is often used abstractly to refer to the actual transmission of voice (rather than the protocol implementing it). VoIP is clearly identified as a Least Cost Routing (LCR) voice routing system, which is based on checking the destination of each telephone call as it is made, and then sending the call via the network that will cost the customer the least.

VoIP is widely employed by carriers, especially for international telephone calls. VoIP is a core technology that drives everything from voice-chat software loaded on a desktop PC to Mac full-blown IP-based telecommunications networks in large corporations. VoIP is gaining popularity among small business owners for good reasons: It costs less than conventional business phone service — often a lot less.

VOIP is now a mature proven technology that until now had only been implemented in large corporations and businesses where it has been deployed on their internal Networks. VOIP is presently the state of the art in business communications. VoIP is benefiting from consumer interest in bundled services from their cable companies as well.

VoIP is techspeak for “voice over Internet protocol,” but it could spell “saving big bucks” for your business. VoIP is especially popular with long-distance calls. Voip is significantly less expensive than typical telephone long distance packages, plus one high speed Internet connection can serve for multiple phone lines with no loss in functionality, reliability, or voice quality and VoIP is great for travelers.

The Best VOIP service for you really does depend on your needs and how you will use the telephone service. VoIP is no longer a technical novelty, but a real business for a growing number of for-profit organizations that sell and service and VoIP connectivity. VoIP is a revolutionary technology that has the potential to completely rework the world’s phone systems.

VOIP costs less because it unregulated and uses low-cost commodity networking, and the infrastructure is subsidized by cable TV and POTS subscribers who are paying too much. The primary reason for migrating to VoIP is cost, as it equalizes the costs of long distance calls, local calls, and e-mails to fractions of a penny per use. A key point to remember is that VoIP is built on already established equipment and applications. As an added bonus, it’s also cheaper, because VoIP is free of the endless government regulations and tariffs imposed upon phone companies.
